Colin Ong Has Qualified for Great Eastern Life Achievers Club 2013

 Colin Ong finally qualified for the prestigious Great Eastern Life Achievers Club (GELAC) in 2013 i.e. after serving the company dedicatedly for more than two decades. Ask any individual associated with Great Eastern Financial Advisers about the correctness of the decision, you will only hear them say that no one deserves the recognition more than Mr. Ong.

Great Eastern has always been a big same in the financial sector of Singapore. However, Colin Ong has helped the company reach greater heights within a short time.

One of his biggest contributions to the company is the formation of Advisors’ Clique (AC), a community of financial consultants. The group operates to help clients achieve their financial aspirations. The team under Colin works dedicatedly and passionately to help clients in living their life with purpose and confidence.

When Advisors’ Clique began operations in 2001, it had just eight team members. However, at present, AC’s team is growing in size with almost every passing day. Currently, it has 60 leaders, 50 support staff, 350 consultants, and 15 directors. These people are either foreign or local university graduates.

Colin’s direct team consists of four COT or Court of the Table planners and one TOT or Top of the Table planner. As expected, the credit for securing the biggest case in the country has been earned by Colin’s team. Colin and his team members succeeded in selling an insurance policy with a sum assured of USD100.

What’s even more inspiring is that Colin himself achieved the MDRT or Million Dollar Round Table as many as 20 times.

Other than qualifying for the GELAC, Colin Ong has received multiple awards and recognitions from the company he has served so well for years.  In 2011, Colin won the company’s Life’s Entre-Planner award. Great Eastern bestows this award to recognise the performance of the top producers working for the company. The very next year, Colin succeeded in bettering his numbers and received the Executive Entre-Planner award. He repeated the feat every year from 2012 to 2016. 

Due to this consistent performance, Colin Ong Great Eastern was made a lifetime member for both the designations of Senior Executive Director and Executive Entre-Planner.

Other than contributing to the rise of Great Eastern, Colin has also given back to society whenever possible. He is associated with multiple charitable endeavours. Every year, he organises charity dinners and luncheons to spend some happy times with the disadvantaged and elderly.
